1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging North American Hoganas for painting and repair services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

North American Hoganas provides professional painting and repair services including but not limited to:

  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Drywall repair and restoration
  • Pressure washing services
  • Deck staining and refinishing
  • Cabinet refinishing
  • Related repair and maintenance services

3. Estimates and Contracts

All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Written contracts will detail the scope of work, materials, timeline, and total cost. Changes to the original scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and may result in additional charges.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your service contract. Generally:

  • Small deposits may be required to begin work
  • Progress payments may be requested for larger projects
  • Final payment is due upon completion and your satisfaction
  • Late payments may incur additional fees
  • We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards

5. Materials and Workmanship

We use high-quality materials from reputable manufacturers. We warrant our workmanship for a period specified in your contract, typically one year from completion. This warranty covers defects in our workmanship but does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from external factors, or issues arising from customer-supplied materials.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing clear access to work areas
  • Removing or protecting valuable items
  • Ensuring pets are secured during work
  • Providing accurate information about the property
  • Making timely payments as agreed
  • Notifying us of any concerns promptly

7. Cancellation and Changes

Projects may be cancelled by either party with reasonable notice. Cancellation fees may apply if materials have been ordered or work has begun. Changes to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and may affect the timeline and cost.

8. Liability and Insurance

North American Hoganas carries comprehensive liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for damage to items not properly protected or disclosed, or for pre-existing conditions not identified during our initial assessment.

9. Weather and Delays

Exterior work may be delayed due to weather conditions. We will reschedule work as needed to ensure quality results. Such delays do not constitute a breach of contract, and completion dates may be adjusted accordingly.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from our services will first be addressed through direct communication. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be subject to mediation or arbitration as specified in the service contract, under the laws of Pennsylvania.

11. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will apply to future service agreements. Existing contracts will remain governed by the terms in effect at the time of signing.
